Personal Welcome Message from the Practice Owner

Written by Administrator

CJA_blog_img2It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our Practice's website. I do hope you find what you're looking for - but please do get in touch if not.

Broom Reid & Harris is a family-run practice that can trace its history all the way back to 1841. I took over the running of it several years ago when my father-in-law retired, and we've maintained our strong commitment to traditional values and cutting-edge technology that have always been so important to my predecessors.

It's funny, but with Broom Reid & Harris you get a real sense that you are part of an amazing legacy that has seen hearing care evolve from its infancy in the early 1900s. And at the core of that you'll find our clients. People like yourself who know how important their hearing is to them, and want to get the best out of it.

I am very aware of the responsibility that I have personally towards each one of our clients – they are essentially placing one of their most important senses in our hands. So it's vitally important that Broom Reid & Harris provides them with the best advice, support and expertise for their hearing at all times.

That's why I'm so glad to be surrounded by such a great team, each one of them just as committed as I am to doing the best for our clients' hearing. And we're always looking for ways to do things better, always trying to put ourselves in our clients' shoes so that our products and services are built around them.

My personal goal is to see hearing care become as normal and as routine as other healthcare professions, such as eye care and dentistry. It's the only way to ensure that everyone takes proper care of their hearing throughout life and receives timely treatment if and when they need it.

We all know how frustrating it can be if someone doesn't hear us properly. But equally, if you have experienced hearing difficulties yourself then you'll know how ignorant people can be towards you. This just isn't right. It's so out-of-date.

We need to develop a society where everybody understands how important their own hearing is – not only for themselves, but for the people around them; where nobody feels embarrassed about receiving the best treatment for a hearing loss; and where we fully support anyone whose hearing difficulties can only partially be rectified.

Broom Reid & Harris was there at the beginning of hearing care. It's now time to take it the next step.

So if you, like me, believe that hearing is one of your most important senses and that you should always seek to get the best out of it, then my colleagues and I genuinely look forward to meeting you.

I really hope you enjoy our website. And do feel free to get in touch if you have any questions. Otherwise I look forward to seeing you soon.

With kindest regards
